The Armata Festival is an event organized to renumerate the victory of the Greek fleet against the Ottoman armanda that took place on 8 September 1822 near the island of Spetses. The festival is organized annualy at the second weekend of September and often marks the end of the summer season for sophisticated Greek vacationers.
