The Riviera Hideout

Heralding in a new era in a storied history and an exciting new chapter for a global brand, Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens is now open. Inspired by the historic glamour of the original Astir Palace Hotel, the fully updated 300-room hotel nestled amid 74 acres (30 hectares) of lush seaside landscape on the shores of the Athenian Riviera is also the first Four Seasons in Greece. Elegantly decorated in soft tones, the air-conditioned rooms and suites at Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens are fitted with modern furnishings and floor-to-ceiling windows. They all offer views over the pine trees or the sea, while some come with private pool.

OUR FAVORITE ROOMS

Our favourite room is undoubtedly our most talked-about, the Pool King Suite facing the mouth-dropping Nafsika Sea View Terrace. Built in a prestigious location of the resort, this room offers you 130tm for your eyes only, so you’ll never not feel at home.

RESTAURANT

Home of the world famous Nobu cuisine, the restaurant Matsuhisa Athens has brought the quiet power of Japanese culture and the charm of fusion philosophy to the gastronomic map of Athens. Beautifully nested in one of the city’s most stylish and scenic locations, the Astir Palace, Matsuhisa Athens promises an unforgettable gastronomic experience

BAR

There’s nothing flat-pack about any of the lodges, but the Tree House is the most unique. You don’t have to be a clambering Boy Scout to stay there either – the name comes from the tree that gnarls its way up the bedroom wall, forming part of the bed itself and hosting a stuffed owl in its upper reaches.
